- Account data: username, email (if provided), hashed credentials/session tokens, service usage metrics.
- Logs: IP address, user agent, timestamps for security, rate limiting, and fraud prevention.
- Lookup inputs: queries you submit (e.g., usernames, IDs, emails) strictly for performing the requested search.
- What we do not collect: sensitive categories of personal data unless you voluntarily include them in a lookup query.
Data is processed to deliver requested lookups, protect the service (anti-abuse, rate limiting), and maintain auditability. Storage is limited to what is necessary; retention is minimized and governed by operational needs and legal obligations. Third-party APIs may be used to enrich results; those providers receive only the parameters required to fulfill the query.
- Security and access logs: retained for up to 30 days unless needed longer for fraud/abuse investigations.
- Lookup/query metadata: retained for up to 24 hours for stability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
- Account data after deletion: deleted or anonymized within 30 days unless longer retention is legally required.
Contractual necessity: account creation, authentication, and performing the requested lookup are processed under contractual necessity.
Legitimate interests: security, anti-abuse, and service reliability.
Consent: any non-essential analytics or optional processing requires your opt-in. You may withdraw consent at any time via account settings (if available) or by contacting legal@swatted.wtf.
We align with GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive, and consumer protection principles.
Users must have a lawful basis to submit any third-party personal data. swatted.wtf acts as a processor for user-submitted queries where applicable.
Lookup results may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate and must not be treated as verified facts. Users remain responsible for lawful use of any outputs.
- Access & export: request a copy of your data.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate information.
- Deletion: request erasure where legally permissible.
- Objection & restriction: object to certain processing or request temporary restriction.
- Portability: obtain data you provided in a structured format.
We may call external APIs or datasets to perform lookups. Only necessary query parameters are shared. Each provider may have its own terms; by using lookups that rely on those services, you also agree to their applicable terms where relevant.
Essential cookies/session tokens are used for authentication, security, and rate limiting. No third-party advertising trackers are used. You may block non-essential cookies, but core functionality may be impacted.
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures (hashed credentials, scoped tokens, least-privilege access, logging) to protect data. No system is perfectly secure; report suspected issues to the contacts below.
This service is not intended for users under the age of 16. Users under this age may not create accounts or use the platform.
Services are provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use. You are responsible for lawful use of results and must not misuse data to harm, harass, or violate privacy rights. Educational/security-research use only.
For data access, deletion, or objections, contact us. We may request verification to protect accounts. Abuse reports, takedown requests, and legal notices are handled promptly.
Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards, or providers located in jurisdictions deemed adequate by the European Commission.
Governing Law & Venue: These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States (State of Delaware), without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware unless another forum is mutually agreed.
Updates may occur to reflect legal or operational changes. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
